Apparently Wednesday morning it's free to go to the Olbrich conservatory until noon, and see the display in the side room. Today I took Morella to see a bunch of gingerbread houses. They really aren't as impressive as I thought they would be, however almost every single one of the kids there was drooling over it and telling their little friends which part of it they would eat first. It must be a kid thing. There were trains too, and apparently that is another kid-tastic thing. |
I liked the conservatory though -- it was so very warm. I felt like I was freezing my pants off when we emerged and had to go home. Now I kind of wish I had a 'warm room' like that in my house, full of exotic beautiful plants and kind old ladies selling me cookies and cider.
